Established to promote skills , National Skills Development Program (NSDP) is the autonomous body for technical education and vocational training in the country mandated to provide for regulations, coordination , and policy direction for vocational and technical training and is thus involved in the policy making , strategy formulation , regulation, and revamping of the country’s entire Technical & Vocational Education and Training system. NSDP is an autonomous public sector body created through the Companies Act-2017 that is presently working under the Board of Directors (BoDs). It facilitates , regulates, and provides policy direction for skills development in Pakistan.

Services and Corporate Affairs Division:
TServices and Corporate Affairs Division is the support services arm of the National Skills Development Program – Pakistan (NSDP), which aims to facilitate in the smooth and seamless functioning of the overall organization for the attainment of its higher objectives. It is also responsible for dealing with matters pertaining to compliance with the regulatory framework applicable on the organization.
Academics and Research Division:
Contents is responsible for collecting contents related to the subjects being tested. The collection is submitted to the databank to be used for test purpose. The material for contents is contributed by academic committee that consists of university professors responsible for developing curricula, along with regulation and promoting consistent testing. The contents are then reviewed by peer review committee for quality check.
To provide direction, support and an enabling environment to the public and private sectors to implement training for skills development in order to enhance social and economic profile .
